Elegant Quilt

This quilt follows a pattern put together by my friend Ruth Bourke, who also gave me the fabric. It’s really lovely fabric in crazy patterns, I never would have used it without the push! Sometimes it’s good to get out of your comfort zone, I feel like I’ve learned so much making this quilt. It will be going to a lovely elegant home and I think it will fit in nicely.

I stuck to the pattern with one exception, I put 4 pieces of the inner border into the outer border, then used the 4 extra pieces into a cushion. Here is the quilt top in the process of being pinned together for quilting:
